Shirley Tabb joined the Honorable Reverend Walter E. Fauntroy, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church in Washington DC, civil/human rights activist, and congressman, along with a contingency of other whistle blower advocates who visited the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officials in Washington DC on July 13, 2006.

Shirley Tabb and other activists/advocates from Blacks in Government (BIG), Government Accountability Project (GAP) , National Judicial Conduct and Disability Law Project, Inc; and the National Whistle Blower's Association met in support of Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo, EAP employee and president of the No Fear Coalition, who has filed a second law suit against EAP claiming harassment and retaliation on her job after receiving $600,000 in damages in a prior complaint for racial and gender discrimination (see Washington Post article).
