Shirley Tabb LICSW served on the social work team at the District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) where she worked in the media office as a public information specialist until agency Director Brenda Donald Walker fired her in 2005 for speaking out against child maltreatment inside the agency mandated to protect children from such atrocities.
